Susan, Mark & Anthony: Our 2018 Tony Award Nominees!
The 2018 Tony Award nominations were unveiled this week, and we are so excited for our wonderful HH nominees. Hugest of congratualtions to the brilliant SUSAN BROWN, MARK RYLANCE and ANTHONY BOYLE for their very well-deserved acting nominations!
Susan, our very own 'Angel in America', is nominated in the Best Featured Actress in a Play category, for her stunning performance in the critcally acclaimed and raved-about revival of Angels In America, which has been enjoying a sold-out Broadway run after transferring from its sell-out run at the National Theatre earlier in the year. According the New York Times, "Susan Brown is sensational as a rabbi, an ancient Soviet revolutionary and Joe’s staunch Mormon mother." We concur!
Angels In America received an incredible 11 nominations in total.
Mark receives his nomination for Best Leading Actor in a Play, for the New York run of his celebrated performance in Farinelli and the King.
Anthony is nominated for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his highly acclaimed portrayal of Scorpius Malfoy in the Broadway transfer of the gargantuan Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts 1 & 2. Anthony won the 2017 Olivier Award for the same role and this Tony nomination adds to an ever-growing list of award nominations for his performance in the American production (see our previous story 'Broadway Boyle').
Again, huge congrats to all three clients! Award winners will be announced at the ceremony on 10 June at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Fingers crossed!
