Opening nationwide in UK cinemas tomorrow is A Bigger Splash, the brand new English language feature film directed by Luca Guadagnino and starring our one-and-only TILDA SWINTON.

TILDA plays globally famous, fictional rock star Marianne Lane, currently in retreat from the madness of her world and happily vacationing with her would-be filmmaker boyfriend Paul (played by Matthias Schoenaerts) on the remote island of Pantelleria off the Sicilian coast. Things soon take a turn for the worse when they are disrupted by the unexpected visit of Marianne's ex-lover Harry - a toxic, insufferable, narcissistic record producer played by Ralph Fiennes - and his entitled daughter Penelope (Dakota Johnson). Before long, tensions mount, sparks fly and everything begins to spiral out of control in this chamber piece loosely based on Jacques Deray’s 1969 psychological thriller La Piscine.

A Bigger Splash is lavish, stylish, brimming with sexual tension and full of masterful performances. The film competed for the Golden Lion at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival and is the most recent in a series of critically acclaimed collaborations between TILDA and director Luca (including feature films The Protagonists [1999] and I Am Love [2009] as well as the short film Tilda Swinton: The Love Factory [2002]).

Go see it on the big screen this weekend! Here's the trailer:
